Hello Parents of the 2012 Mite Division Softball players!

 It's that time of the year, time to ramp up the softball season one more time.  We are requesting that all girls playing in the Mite division attend for a short session where they will participate in several drills.  

The purpose of these drills is two-fold:  

First, for the second year Mite girls, this is their opportunity to participate in an evaluation (try-out) for placement on North Langley’s Supermite Team. The Supermite team is comprised of second year Mite girls who will play in the Squirt Division (the next division up).  The Supermite team also participates in Supermite specific tournaments throughout the year.  It is somewhat of a pre-quel to the ‘Rep Division’.

Second, for the entire division, these drills will provide organizers with some very base level information that will assist with team selections in order to make every effort to create teams that are balanced.

The following is the information needed for your daughter to attend her designated grading session:

 DATE:           Sunday, Feb. 19

 TIME:            9:00 am – 10:00 am     Surnames starting A to G

                        10:00 am – 11:00 am   Surnames starting H to N

                        11:00 am – 12:00 pm   Surnames starting O to Z

LOCATION: Walnut Grove Secondary School All Weather Field/Batting Cage

                    (Located directly behind Walnut Grove School)

WHAT TO BRING:  Glove, Batting Helmet, Running Shoes and Cleats - These sessions will take place 'rain or shine' and the skills portion will take place outside, so please dress appropriately
