WHAT IS UMPIRING ALL ABOUT:                                            

• Umpires must be a min. of 12 years old and have 2 years of player experience to come out for Umpire training.
• This is a great way to enjoy softball from a new perspective, improve you understanding of the game, learn leadership skills, and best of all…...earn a few dollars in the process! 
• Umpires will officiate over games that are the division below their current age/skill level.

• Umpire's are issued a current Softball Canada rule book at certification clinics.  For copyright reasons there is no electronic version of SBC Rule Book.
