- Born in 2000 & 2001
- Grades 5 & 6
- Season runs April thru June
- Regional & Provincial Tournaments in July for qualifying teams
- Teams consist of approximately 12 players.
- All players participate & rotate positions.
- 1-2 games/ week (weekdays) is typical. Games begin at 6:30 p.m. and are approximately 1.5 hours in length with a 1/2 hour practice prior to game time.
- Coaches may choose to hold additional practices throughout the week.
- Teams (in consultation with parents) may enter additional weekend tournaments throughout the season.
- First year where entire game is pitched by a player.
- Emphasis on having fun while still developing skills and allows them to experience the value of teamwork.
- Games are officiated by trained teenage umpires.
- Uniform consists of jersey, shorts, socks & cap (jersey & shorts returned at end of season).
- Glove, batting helmet & Jill ARE MANDATORY.
